New JSNT December issue – and my first major article!

The new JSNT issue (December 2008) has been posted electronically on the Sage website (http://jnt.sagepub.com/current.dtl). I am happy to say that therein you will find my first article in a major journal (which explores a series of allusions to Ps 78 in 2 Thessalonians 3).

I am experiencing some fear and trembling as my article has been given a place alongside some magnates in this issue:

  1. Hello, Nijay,

I’ve enjoyed your blog posts immensely, and they have been valuable to me. I’m a breath away from turning in my NT Th.M. thesis, which addresses some particulars of 2 Thess 3:6-16 in light of Paul’s church discipline practices described elsewhere. Your article (which I was able to read last night) is germane to the sitz im leben of my passage, and I’d like to include at least a brief reference to your work, but I’d like a clarification or two first.
