The Lucky Winner (2 Corinthians Giveaway)

This is the winning entry: “The messenger of the cross is conformed to the message of the cross, foolishness to the perishing and life for those who believe.”

This is reflective especially of the first six chapters, but indicative of Paul’s perspective in 2 Corinthians as a whole. Why not let Paul speak for himself? Excellent. This is exactly why I think 2 Corinthians is one of the most powerful Pauline books.

Congrats, Abe! I  appreciate the cruciformity perspective in your answer (and so would Mike Gorman)!

What is the bonus prize? I am including a couple of issues of the journal I co-edit, Journal for the Study of Paul and His Letters.

  1. Thank you, Nijay! I learned 2 Corinthians from Scot Hafemann and Timothy Savage, and cruciformity from Gorman. Thankful for their instruction (via their respective books on the subject).
